Quintessence Theatre Camp is part of our mission to develop the next generation of classical theatre lovers. Using theatre games and exploratory exercises to develop an original adaptation of a classical piece of literature, each week ends with a performance. Our focus on the collaborative process allows participants to build confidence, develop character, and experience the theatrical process first-hand.
Groundlings Session One: Performance Adventure

Start your summer with Quintessence Theatre Group! Our Performance Adventure Camp will explore the fundamentals of theatre making and performance. From movement to text work, your child will hone their creativity and learn to collaborate with their peers. There will be a final performance at 3pm on Thursday June 18th to celebrate their progress!

Groundlings Session Two : QTG & Philly Circus Collaboration
Ages 8-12 | Tuition $425| 9am - 4pm // June 22-26 2026
*This camp week will take place off site at Philadelphia School of Circus Arts*

QTG and Philly Circus are coming together for an epic performance experience! Over the week, your child will explore the diversity of performing from the best of the best. Working with both QTG and Philly Circus Teaching Artists, your child will learn things like text and scenework, storytelling through movement, and more! At 2pm on Friday June 26th, there will be a final performance celebrating their progress.

Phoenix & Turtle Shakespeare Players:
Romeo & Juliet
Ages 12-17 | Tuition $800| 9am - 4pm // July 13-24 2026
P&T Players presents one of Shakespeare’s most beloved plays: Romeo & Juliet. This classic tale has action, adventure, tragedy, and of course, love! Your young actor will learn to analyze and perform this classic text with guidance from professional performers. An exciting addition this year is our partnership with Cut & Sew, who will be designing costumes for our production! This two-week camp will culminate in a performance of R&J on the Sedgwick Stage on Friday July 24th at 2:30pm, followed by a post-show talkback!
